Hi, this is Beth, the co-founder of Sonic Connections. You are listening to this recording probably because you just recently finished a meeting or a gathering. I'd like to invite you to participate in a practice that can be really helpful when closing out a gathering space. So let's take a breath. You can close your eyes or soften your focus. Allow your attention to drift to the sounds that you hear. You chose to spend intentional time together on purpose. So let's take a moment to recap. What stood out to you the most about this session or gathering? Now there's no right or perfect answer. Just see what comes up for you when you give yourself the space to remember. What moment caught your attention or made you feel something? A moment of connection. Maybe a quote someone shared. Something you learned. Maybe a moment of confusion that was worked through or not. Whatever it is, let yourself settle on what stood out to you. If you want to jot down a few words to capture what you're taking away, you can do that now or just continue visualizing it. Now I invite you to shift your focus back to the music. What sound or instrument stands out to you the most? Just like in music, we're each drawn to something different about a whole. So allow yourself to consider, why did this particular part of our time together stick out to me? Why did this quote or this content piece or this moment matter so much to me? Why might it have felt so important? I now invite you to think about what you might choose to do with this information. You can ask yourself, how will this moment impact the way I move forward with this group or in this role? Is there a piece of knowledge that was shared that you want to research more deeply? Is there a perspective shift that you'd like to incorporate into your time moving forward? Are there still questions that you have that you'd like to follow up on? The music's going to pick up in a bit, and I invite you to visualize your future with this group in your role, incorporating the things that you gained from this meeting, incorporating those new perspectives, the new piece of information, the feeling of inspiration. What does that actually look like to you? What are you doing and how are you feeling about it? What is something that you can do today, something you can do this week, or maybe something that you'd like to start working on long term? As this practice comes to a close, I'm going to offer just a couple prompts that you can either think about or jot down your responses to. Today I witnessed blank. Today I heard someone say blank. What I'm taking away from this meeting is blank. Today I witnessed, today I heard someone say, and the third prompt is what I'm taking away from this meeting is blank. You can either share your responses as a group close out or use this as a moment of personal reflection. Thanks for participating in this practice.
